About Studierstube

Studierstube is a software framework for the development of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality applications. This framework was invented to develop the worldwide first collaborative AR application. Later the focus changed to support for mobile AR applications. Studierstube is developed at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz). Studierstube (for PC) is freely available for download under GPL, while Studierstube ES for mobile phones is available commercially. It builds on the scene graph library Coin3D and features the device management framework OpenTracker. See the documentation page for more information on software development and the publications for scientific information concerning Studierstube.
